Japanese Style Cod Fillet

24 oz cod fillet
2 tablespoons miso paste
3 oz pickled jalapeno
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup fish stock
1 teaspoon sesame oil
½ teaspoon chili flakes
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon sugar
1. Chop the pickled jalapeno. Combine the miso paste with the oyster sauce,
soy sauce, fish stock, and sesame oil. Add the chili flakes, cayenne pepper,
and sugar.
2. Whisk with the help of the fork to make the miso paste dissolve.
3. Then brush the cod fillet with the miso paste sauce.
4. Put the cod fillet in the slow cooker and sprinkle with the remaining sauce.
Add the chopped pickled jalapeno pepper and close the lid.
5. Cook the fish on LOW for 1.5 hours. When the fish is cooked, transfer it to
a plate and shred gently with a fork. Sprinkle the fish with the slow cooker
fish sauce and serve immediately. Enjoy!
